Vijayawada Highway is the next Gachibowli, as it has low cost, high returns, green belt zone, links Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and is emerging as an IT hub in the region. Project On “Expansion of Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway”
For taking up a major road infrastructure development in Telangana State, Telangana Roads and Buildings [R&B] Department shall soon take up an expansion of the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway 65 up to Malkapur at a cost of Rs. 545 crore funded by the Central government.
The project will benefit regular travelers between Hyderabad and Vijayawada via NH-65 by prohibiting pedestrians from using the 25-km stretch, constructing eight underpasses and two footbridges.

The attractive plants need to be planted on the right side of the national highway so that when people reach the city from different areas they will get a green and warm welcome.
